Dear Friends,
We are enjoying our new life here in Argentina, and love our horses very much. However there is a very sad situation going on here. Horses going to the butcher, being sold by the pound. Additionally we have found many mal nourished and starving animals. Many local people here simply do not have the resources or money to feed their animal, especially in the winter when nothing is growing. We have so far rescued three horses, one was going to be sold to the butcher, and another was starving almost to the point of death. With our help these animals are growing strong and healthy. We would love to continue our rescue mission, but unfortunately alfalfa, oats, and corn is expensive when feeding three horses or more per day. We hope that with help of you and others we will be able to continue helping these magnificent animals. Our future plans are to build a small barn to accommodate our horses and those that may join us in the future.
